These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Civic Quest website (the “Site”) and your ability to request and receive a Civic Quest kit (“Civic Quest” or the “Kit”).

The Site and the Civic Quest program are operated by NHM LLC, doing business as Co-Created (“Co-Created”), in partnership with the National Constitution Center (“NCC”).

By accessing the Site or submitting a request for a Civic Quest kit, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To request a Civic Quest kit, you must:

Be 18 years of age or older

Be a resident of the United States

Submit accurate and complete information

Civic Quest is designed for families to use together, with content intended for children ages 7–12, but only adults may request a kit.

2. Description of Civic Quest

Civic Quest is a free, limited-edition educational experience made available through philanthropic support.

No purchase is required.

The Kit is provided for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.

3. Availability and Fulfillment

• Civic Quest kits are available while supplies last
• Submitting a request does not guarantee that a kit will be fulfilled
• We reserve the right to limit requests to one kit per household
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Civic Quest at any time

4. Shipping

• Shipping is provided at no cost to addresses within the United States only
• Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed
• We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or delivery issues caused by carriers or incorrect address information provided by you

5. No Returns or Exchanges

Because Civic Quest is a free, limited-edition offering:

• All Kits are provided as is
• No returns or exchanges are permitted
• In cases where a Kit arrives damaged, Co-Created may, at its sole discretion, offer a replacement while supplies last. Replacement decisions are final.

6. Educational Use and Supervision

Civic Quest is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

We make no guarantees regarding learning outcomes or educational results.

Adult supervision is recommended during use. You assume responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of all physical materials included in the Kit.

7. Intellectual Property

All content included in Civic Quest — including text, images, artwork, game mechanics, and design — is owned by Co-Created, the National Constitution Center, or their licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or use Civic Quest content for commercial purposes without permission.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit multiple or fraudulent requests
• Use automated systems or scripts to request Kits
• Misrepresent your identity or address
• Resell or attempt to resell Civic Quest Kits
• Interfere with the operation of the Site

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Civic Quest Kits are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Co-Created and NCC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Civic Quest or use of the Site

Total liability related to Civic Quest shall not exceed $0, as no purchase is required

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Co-Created and the National Constitution Center from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
